Hello! Happy Tuesday!!
Over the weekend, I finally got all of the furniture moved back into the family room. I also did a little spring decorating while I was at it!
I have been moving things around from all over the house lately, changing things up with the new painted floors, but not really wanting to spend a lot of money...more just wanting to freshen things up with what I already have!
So here are more pics of the new look in our family room...

Every February I ask my friend, Diane, to get some flowering branches for me. I just love flowering branches. This time, the white cherry blossoms were what was available...
One of my 1920's garage doors made it into this room. I am really liking it in here :) I added some of my favorite vintage fern prints to the glass panes...

Your floors look gorgeous! I love the mirror in the foyer. Did you age it or is it really old? I think there is a product for aging mirrors, but can't remember what it's called. What a beautiful room.

JoeyLea the mirror is vintage and the "ghosting" on it is due to age, I did not age it. This is how it looked when I bought it 10 years ago :)

Love it! We have hardwood floors in our bedrooms and hallway. Don't know about our living room yet (we recently moved here and it's currently carpeted). I would LOVE to have painted wood floors. Even hubby would be on board with it.
But we have two dogs that wrestle a lot in the house...wondering if a painted floor would hold up well (?)

I like the old clock faces in the frame...very neat idea.

What an amazing space, Tracey! I just love it! That painted floor really added so much light and airiness to the rooms, didn't it? Do you all take your shoes off at the door now? :) GREAT job!!!!
