Hello friends!
I did a quick change out of the old mantel I have in the dining room last month and I realized the other day that I never showed it to you...
I took an old frame and some jute twine and used that to hang some of my vintage French letter collection. I think these old letters with their beautiful script are worth displaying, so I wanted to find a way to showcase them...
...so that is what inspired my mantel change out! A little Queen Anne's Lace from the nearby prairie field and a touch of ironstone and the new look was complete...
Quick and easy!
Have a beautiful Tuesday!!
Tracey

Oh, I love this look! You have inspired me to do something with the letters I have written by my father during WWII!
Love the frame you used. I used an old window, wound twine around it and added old black/white family photos and an old small feed sack that my dad had written his name on.
I just love the beautiful letters, the whole looks is so summery
Oh so pretty...simple really is the way to go isn;t it!? Love the "feel"it gives off...just re-did a few things in the kitchen and they too just "feel" right! Hope all is well...enjoy the last month of summer...can not wait for fall! x0
Hi Tracey,
I always love the way you put together such beautiful vignettes around your home. I really like how you used your French letters inside the vintage frame, it makes such a lovely piece of art.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
