Hello! Happy weekend!!
I almost never seem to post on the weekend, but I am so behind on posting, that I thought I would try a Saturday post :)
We took the kids up to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for a few days of sun and fun this past week. As I was going thru the photos yesterday that I had taken, I realized that I still haven't shown you any of the pictures from Brussels or Paris from our last trip in May...wow am I behind!

I thought I would start with a few pictures of Paris today as we just booked our plane tickets to France a few days ago and are officially all set to go to Provence in early September!!! So since I have France on the brain, I thought I would start here and then circle back to Brussels in a later post...
We took the train down from Brugges to Paris and arrived to a warm and sunny 80 degrees on our first day in Paris...
You know how much I dislike having my picture taken :)) ...but I couldn't resist having my husband snap a quick pic of me with the Eiffel Tower in the background!
This was right after we went to Musee d'Orsay to see the absolutely incredible display of Impressionist paintings. Since is was such a gorgeous day we simply started walking and spent hours and hours just enjoying the beauty of Paris.
I actually did not take a ton of pictures on this particular trip...I think I had taken so many pictures in Belgium that I just felt like taking a breather and soaking it all in! I love Paris so very much and I always long to go back. I will manage to be there for 2 days on this next trip, in between our busy schedule, and I can't wait!
The wisteria growing at the little park next to Sacre Coeur was so lovely. The whole Montmartre area is just beautiful...
Enjoy your Saturday!
Tracey

Beautiful photos! I've never really had the desire to travel abroad because we have so much I havn't seen right here in the states, but your photos make me want to go there.
Enjoy your weekend!
Lovely pics.
Thanks for sharing.
I love traveling in Europe,
there is so much to see.
Before I have a dream of backpacking in Europe after my College graduation, I never get to do that but I am sure making plans for my son to be able to do it once he graduated from college. I think traveling would really help him character wise.
You really make me wonder what pictures you took of Belgium ;-)
Maybe of places I haven't even been to yet, who knows.
Don't come here now, the weather is terrible, not summer at all, lots of rain and the temps feel as if it were fall. I wish I could book a ticket to go to the States actually. You have so many great cities and beautiful National parks the size of Belgium I dream to visit once....
Love your sunny Paris pics!
Bye,
Marian
I adore Paris. Very jealous of your trip as haven't managed to visit there since last year. Thanks for sharing some gorgeous photos!

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Ahhh, Paris. Your photos truly capture its' beauty, Tracey. So glad you enjoyed your time there. You look very chic in front of the Eiffel tower!
My husband and I hope to return to Paris next year for our 10th anniversary, since that's where we honeymooned. Such a romantic city. Happy to hear you are returning in the fall. :)
We've recently booked out tickets for four weeks in France in April 2013. This time a whole week in Paris before heading to the Loire Valley & Provence. I can't wait....your photos remind me why we are saving so hard to accomplish this goal!
Merci, Kerry
I love your photos, Tracey.
My favorite place in Paris was Sacre Coeur. Walking up the many steps to the cathedral was the most exciting thing for me. I had tears in my eyes trying to take in the magnitude of it all. The other cathedral was the one for St. Theresa. I was overwhelmed by the number of candles that were lit by the patrons. Did you visit the original parish where she lived? It's unbelievable!!!!
xxoo
I really enjoyed the pictures. Have a great time and bring back lots of pictures to post.
Cynthia

These images are just glorious, Tracey!
Especially the one of YOU!
XO,
Anne
Beautiful! What a wonderful trip!
Beautiful photos! I love the one of you, too! I think you look adorable, why don't you like your photo taken? And is that a Jeanne Oliver bag I see? A must for your photo to be taken in front of the Eiffle Tower.
